Data deletion instructions
We respect your right to control your data. To delete your account and everything associated with it, use either option below.
Option 1 — In the app
The fastest way:
- Open the Linfluence app on your device.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. This is irreversible and removes your data from our servers immediately.
Option 2 — By email
If you can't access the app:
- Email linfluenceprivacy@techenya.com.
- Use the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
- Send it from the email address linked to your Linfluence account so we can verify ownership.
Retention
Once your request is processed:
- Personally identifiable information (name, email, profile picture) is queued for deletion.
- We retain it for up to 9 months to meet legal obligations and prevent fraud.
- After that, it is permanently deleted from all our systems.
- Analytics about your posts are anonymised and kept only in aggregate.
